well the 360 is the lead platform, so if the past has shown anything its that ports from 360 to ps3 dont turn out too good, i can only think of one exception and that was with a years extra dev time, but we shall see.
so these are all off the pc version, sounds like they are trying to push alienware stuff pretty hard.

dont put words in my mouth, you honestly do not know what you are talking about. first some of my fav movies are only on hd dvd, fear & loathing and eternal sunshine to name a few, second the quality on many films is better on hd dvd because of the lack of vc1 use on blu-rays side at the beginning, third hd dvd has more features than blu-ray, forth i'd rather have less DRM than more. but thats me. so before you go off thinking you know what i meant to say, you should educate yourself on w...
honestly whats the point wasnt he already the head os a sony backed studio? so now hes making another one for the same company... why not just stay where he is? either way his games are going on a sony system either way they sign his check... just silly to me. its like if you live in an apartment complex and you moved down the hall.

what games? the reason people buy the wii is because its a novilty item right now. there are less games for the wii than for the ps3 (someone correct me if im wrong) and NO online support but for some ultra dumb reason they are getting a free pass.
this war is years from being over no matter how you look at it so it doesnt matter if you buy hd dvd or blu-ray by the time this thing is done 90% of the world will have moved on to digital distribution... i personally prefer hd dvd but to each their own.
big deal im sure everyone still has their gamecube dev kits... not like there is ANY learning curve involved... and really who cares? the only good games for it will come from nintendo anyways...
p.s. i AM a nintendo fan 1st and foremost (i have every system of theirs minus the wii) so this is just a little rant of mine dont take it to heart any of you wii fanatics out there. i just dont think its right to pay $250 for a system i essentially already own with a new remote tacke...

i have never been into any of the mgs games, so i have no opinion on it but everyone is entitled to theirs, good or bad. all i have to say is very few games live up to their hype, im not saying that they end up being bad games but people cant help but feel let down most of the time.
only 6 are usable cuz one is used by the OS at all times and the os can take another when ever it wants (so the game dev can really only count on 5 at ALL times). the ps3's os is a big resource hog.

yes you cant and i cant call or write someone at EA but there are people out there that make their living off getting information like this and as such they have very good contacts within the game industry. how do you think egm or gameinformer get their info?
you didnt even read the news did you? they said very clearly that the ps3 version has been stated to run at both 30fps and 60fps, they wrote/called EA and asked what one it was and were given a very clear answer that it would NOT run at 60fps. your link there is 11 days old, this is brand new, so the only one making themselves look bad is you.
no they will be 99% the same just the 360 is the lead dev platform so the ps3 gets a port and it seems they will only be able to get that running at 30 fps
